Kia Amanti looks like ... Can you figure it out ?
Amanti info from Autoweek
1. front lights and front side -- w210
2. rear side -- lincoln town car
3. rear butt -- jaguar s-type
4. interiors -- some sorts of w210
The Amanti is also not a bad-looking vehicle, with design cues borrowed from Lincoln, Mercedes and Jaguar sprinkled liberally throughout.

wow, interior looks nice.... 2 of my cousines own 2 different korean cars.... the tiburon and the lagonza?
tiburon is okay, but the dawoo? is just a peice of feces....

I happen to take things like this as a compliment. they could have copied any car on the market and they obviously copied the W211. Its all how you want to look at it. The best MB can do is just ignore the fact that other companies are coping them. Remember there is no such thing as bad publicity.

That grill !!
The grill looks like someone gave the car a lemon to suck on! The last time some random car company had a grill that ugly, it was called an Edsel.

the headlights are duplicates of the older body style e class w210. its somewhat flattering but at the same time, do your own thing you know?

maybe DaimlerChrysler owns Kia and we just don't know it yet!
if the Kia drifts to the right, the wipers make noise and things just start going out in cold weather, then i guess we'll know. (just kidding, this is just a $62,000 joke.)

And the Kia Amanti comes with a 10 year warranty! I would like to see Mercedes match that. Have to admit it is a nice looking car and they did a good job on the interior. Assume crash test results are not yet available for it which could be a weakness.

As for the Amanti. I see alot more Jag S-type all over and less W210. The grill looks likes a b@stardized 211 knock-off. I would be interested in hearing the responses from a Jag forum
. Probably a hell of a lot more reliable too.

it may come out a aftermarket version of mb style of grill soon -- the next facelift of amanti may be based on w211. (amanti was designed 2 years ago so it copied w210) I cannot believe it uses a "similar" seat adjustment control (I know Chrysler cars use it but Chrysler and MB are the same company.)

I have purchased this car 2 weeks ago and its awsome. I bought with all the optional features and it came out to like 30,000$. This car drives like a benz its so soft u cant feel the bumps. And it looks great, inside its really nice, has a lot features that other cars in its class dont have. and the sound system is hot infity 6cd changer 8 speakers and a subwoofer !! Whoever is looking to buy a car this is highly recomended and defintely go test drive ! and beleive me when you switch to the 5 speed sports shifter its really great i took this to 130mph on the highway and it was handling beutiful, before this i had audi a6 which is also a good car but this car is so much more luxury. I know the name is **** but when i drove it makes up for it. when i told my friends i got a kia there were like are u out of ur mind, but when they drove in it there minds changed quickly. so dont let the name fool you this is truely a great car!
