Need help with Mighty vac extractor

I followed the directions but I can't seem to get the small diameter tubing more than a few inches into the dip stick hole. Does anyone have any suggestions? Don't wanna force it and I tried various angles of approach but keep getting obstructed....very frustrating. Any and all help is appreciated!😊

That doesn't make sense??? Is this to change the oil? Are you pushing into the correct dipstick tube? On my CDI, the tranny is on the passenger side with a red clip and the oil is at the back of the intake manifold with a regular plug. I don't own an oil dipstick and use the poorly designed dash board display. Anyway, I used the quarter inch diameter tube on the vacuum system and it goes down into the oil pan with no problem.

The oil does act thick and it takes a lot of vacuum to pull it up the tube. Diesel engines also make black paint in their oil pan and I'm very careful not to spill that nasty old oil on anything.

But as far as difficult to push the tube down, I've never had a problem. Maybe yours is configured differently than mine and there is a kink in the tube.

Good luck,
Peter

Make sure you are pushing it into the dipstick and not the transmission tube.
