If they are legit and have no marks, I would pay $800. Offer him $600 without the tires and let him resell them lol.
The lugs will work, assuming they are not reps. If they are reps - they use a flat seat, the OEMs use conical.

I am running the OEM 16" inch wheels/bolts on my E320, the AMG wheels are also OEM. I therefore assume that I will be good to go.
I will look at the wheels (and most likely purchase) this afternoon and will keep you posted.
Again, MANY THANKS for all your help which was crucial in making the decision, as I would have not been able to do it without your important knowledge/input.
Have a super weekend.

Wheels have been purchased
So, just a quick update letting you know that I purchased the AMG wheels yesterday.
I put the wheels next to my car and those will look KILLER!!!!!!! I am VERY happy with the look as well condition of those wheels and I will post some "teaser" pictures (the new rims next to my car) when back in the office next week, as I can not figure out how to attach a picture while writing this post on my phone.
As mentioned, I will be mounting 245/40 in the front, 265/35 in the rear.
I do not need the best tire out there, nor do I want some garbage either. I also prefer a tire which is not single directional so I can swap from side to side, as I had good wear experience with this on previous owned Bmw's.
I was planning on going with the Yokohama YK 580 tire as I had great success with these in the past, unfortunately it does not come in a 265/35.
I am looking at the BRIDGESTONE RE 760 SPORT, and was wondering if anyone was running these tires and what your experiences/thoughts were.
I live in Northern Cali, so 8 months out of the year it will be dry and the remainder will be wet (if we ever get any rain around here), I will never go in the snow with this car.
Thanks for all your help in advance.

Those wheels will not work. :(
Good afternoon.
Check fitted the S class wheels today. The front tire is 245/45/18 and would be a 245/40/18, so a little smaller in diameter. I think the offset on these wheels will not work as it seems to be awfully close to the control arm strut. Also the bolts from my current 16" inch wheel are approx. 20mm to short to work with the AMG's.
The rear I think would work fine, but I do not want any rubbing when loaded and this is what REALLY concerns me.
I think I will sell these again and get something which will work for a W211.

Help! 2003 E320 wheel tire upgrading to 2017 18” MB OEM rims?
I’m struggling finding the answer. I have a 2003 E320, stock 16” rims / tires, prior owner used curb friction to help slow the car down . I need new tires but don’t want to keep the old beat up rims. I found a set of used stock OE MBZ 18” Rims / tires off a 2017 E Class. Rim Model# A246 4010400. All four rims / tires are the same size. They have Pirelli 225-45-18s on them. But I’m buying them from a private party, i need to know if they would work / fit my 2003 E320? I called around and haven’t been able to get a good answer, hoping you guys could help me. I called my MBZ mechanic and he said, Maybe. But your ABS light will come / stay on because of the different wheel size? I see guys change out wheels all the time, is that true and if so, can it be defeated / reset?

AMG 19" Turbine 8.5" and 9.5" rims, I'm pretty happy with how they suit the shape and colour of my wagon.
