Hi,
I do apologize if the issue was already raised somewhere but I couldn't find it.
I have an issue with my W211 E320 estate - the rear boot cover self retraction thing went totally mad. It swings up and down on its own, I can't get my boot closed properly and it absolutely drives me crazy.
Does anyone know a solution to this? Is there any "easy fix" kinda thing (if such even exist for MB cars lol ) or could anyone advise how to switch this thing off? Or (this is how far desperate I am at this point) which cable to cut in order to cut off the power to this thing?
Additional question - I have noticed that my CD changer is weirdly producing some noise (like it's spinning or so) even though there is no cd inside.
The opening for the cd changer isn't working either. So could this be not a changer but the very engine responsible for opening the compartment?
Can these two things be somewhat related?
I would appreciate any help, brain storm, anything. I am going mad at this point lol
