GOODBYE W211
The E320 is officially gone. It was harder to let go than i thought it would be, but...its time to move on to a new project. Traded it in for a 2010 E250 CGI Blue Efficiency with about 67k's on the clock. Looked at a few Mercs but realized we needed something more fuel efficient than the 63 for a daily. I was supprised with the power of the 1.8L 4cyl turbo intecooler engine. Not far off from the E320 so im happy.

Nice, what options did you get? Did you get bi-xenon's? I see you have headlamp washers and it looks like keyless go with parktronic. Any pano roof? Can't tell from the pictures.

Thanks mate! Its a used car so i didnt really have a choice with the options. But i was lucky i guess with this car. It has Bi-xenons, adaptive lights, split fold rear seats, power folding mirrors, blind spot assist, lane assist, driver assist (standard on W212 i think), Harman Kardon sound system, sunroof no pano, leather, keyless entry/go, parktronic and a few more. It wasnt so bad since i was really looking for something with a smaller engine but with a few options. And last but the most important for me, Palladium Silver. Always loved the color since it came out. At least i was able to own the color on the last year its available.

Yep, its the mrs. Got it about a month ago replacing her CLK. A bit of a gas guzzler so i decided to get the W212 as a daily driver for her. I take public transport everyday so the 63 is our weekend warrior.
Kushp, cheers mate! Lovin' it so far!

Oh, good for you. I always wondered how somebody with access to a 63 would be able to live with a mainstream engine like a 350 or variant of such.
I had the choice to buy a 2008 E63 or E350 4MATIC, and my wife gave me permission to get either one, even though the 63 was $20K more (both used)... I opted for the sensible choice, but had buyers remorse for a few months... I refused to test drive the E63 because I knew I'd have to get it... so I've never been in one. I love my 2008 E350 and am very content with it (going on 5 years now).
My son just got a 2015 GTI with all performance options, and not yet 700 miles on it and he's thrown on a high performance exhaust, air box, lowered springs and some turbo boost thing... he's bugging me to race him... ha ha... I told him I will in 10 years when I get my next used car, an E63s.
Anyway your car is beautiful... enjoy!
Cheers!

Thanks Mike, the C63 is a wonderful car! It never fails to paint a smile on my face everytime i sit behind the wheel.
Since we moved, my wifes daily commute was dramatically reduced to 8ks one way city driving so the 63 wasnt practical. We wanted to keep it for a thousand reasons so shes been driving the E320 as her daily since i use public transport. Worried about the SBC system on the E so i looked for a hopefully more reliable and economical E.
Both are very lovely and i cant wait to drive either everytime. Always find myself lookin for excuses to go somewhere!

Hahaha! I reckon ill keep it looking like stock for now. For some reason im liking the front bumper more than the AMG bumper. Idk mate, but for now, wheels and coilovers first but not anytime soon. Besides, when i get the itch, i just look at the 63 and that itch is more than scratched!
