There is a special tool used to install the new bearing, drifts and insertion/extraction tool... however if you don't have access to that tool see if you can find something to fit perfectly into the seal (large 1" socket probably in the 35-50 mm range) i'm not sure. and use a hammer or dead blow and tap it on slowly. If you didn't mark ANYTHING you could be taking everything apart again because by not aligning it the way it was, will cause horrible drive-train vibrations, maybe but you wont know until everythings back together. I can't give you any input on how far it should go on... use your pictures and videos... Someone else may be able to chime in on this as i usually mark things before I take them off. Sorry bud.

It's all good bro. Just take your time and don't hog up your new bearing. Since you do not have the proper to tools to seat the new bearing, be extremely careful and precise. Good luck!

The guy at MercedesSource has a good video on the driveshaft. It is balanced at the factory, so it has to be put back exactly as it was when you took it apart. He uses a simple piece of masking tape along it, which you then tear before you pull the shaft apart. Then you just line the tape up again when sliding it back together.

The splined yoke is also mated to each other for balance
If you have a dial gauge you can check run out as your adjusting to the center.
The run out is 0 degrees
Google driveshaft alignment with Guido or rubber flex disks.
