E500 swap to 5.5 twin turbos
Ok so looking for help on ecu and stars? I know the stars is a diagnostic system, but I need to know how I can get into the ecu or am I going to have to bypass the whole computer system. I don't need the bs on just buy a faster car. I'm a gear head and this is what I do. Plus I need to bypass the air bags for the paddle shifter steering wheel. Let's start there, I have a lot of questions . Thanks

I know it's not easy..lol. that's why I'm doing it. No real pics yet. Will start the pictures when I pull the motor again and set the turbos.

Since you are asking questions about how to get into MB's ECU I would say you need some professional help with the computer side of this. A few members on here have done some crazy setups I would recommend reaching out to them and see who or what they did. Or reach out to Eurocharged, oe tuning ect.... and see if they can help out.
Bypassing any computer on a MB is very hard as they are all interconnected and if one is taken offline it can cause others to stop working. The air bag should be easier and I have heard of people using resistors but why not keep the car OEM looking and just put a MB wheel with paddle shifters on it and keep the air bag unless this is a race car or something in which case lol?
Also take your budget and multiply it by 5 as you know all builds go over budget but on a MB they tend to go crazy. Keep us updated though as if you pull it off it will be awesome.

Ok, so hit a couple bumps in the road. lol. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. No twin turbo set up.... working on a single 76mm I hope. where the second battery was for the brake system. I wanted a challenge, well I got more than that. nothing like chasing codes around. good news is I'm learning a lot that is not on American cars... will keep you updated as I go along.
