Front end only conversion 06 e350 to 09 e350
Hey guys, Ive been looking into changing just the front fascia of my car to the 09 e350 sport style. Ive attached a pic of the style im talking about.
I intend to change to the facelift headlights as well as the facelift grill. Is the bumper a straight swap? I know I need to upgrade the grill but I cant seem to find a front bumper without PDC on ebay with all the grill and trim pieces intact.
This thread :

mentions the parts for the 07-08 style bumper but I guess most of the parts mentioned are redundant. Anyone else on here who did the conversion?

talk to suvner on here, he sells the complete bumper.
i have an oem grill if you haven't found one yet for sale
you will need a new hood latch, plus the bumper braces. facelift headlights are not plug and play you will need to re-wire if you go oem. they do sell aftermarket that are plug and play though

Suvneer sells the e63 style bumper which is what most people go for. The picture you linked is the AMG Sports package which is mostly an 09. The 07s-08s have the regular sports package bumpers and look slightly different. It would probably be cheaper to get a bumper from Gary@Suvneer here than to buy a used bumper, unless the used e350 bumper is already black and in great conditon.

I forgot to mention that I was intending on swapping with aftermarket facelift headlight units so that should be plug and play. Thanks for pointing out the need for a new hood latch, was not aware of that, is it a simple part swap though? Il PM you once I start ordering parts in regard to the grill.
Lemon I thought the E63 bumper is wider than my e350 front end so it wouldn't work and fitment would not be perfect? I have not seen just a front end e63 on a pre 06 e350 or e500 and since I have a 4Matic, im not lowered so I think that may throw off the look im going for. I also am just doing the front end, i do not want to do the rear end upgrade with the dual exhausts so im not sure how just an e63 front end would look.... debating on the side skirts though.. should i upgrade them too? or will the lines still flow?

Only the C63 AMG compared to its C class counterpart have wider front bumpers. For the E's they are the same fitment. There are been plenty of people on this forum who have done the E63 style bumper conversion on their e320/350/500/550 including me on my 550.
Here is what you are trying to visualize with just the front end conversion. Courtesy of another forum member here.
This might help. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ous-parts.html
