rear sam terminal connectors

hi,
does anyone know what type of connector is required for adding a wire to any of the plugs in the back of the rear sam unit ? it's one of the wire terminals that is inserted into the plug and has prongs so that it wont back out of plug and has appropriate female end to slip over prongs in the rear sam hole. thanks

You need to simplify what you are trying to do here. What exactly are you trying to do? Tap into the power or ground of the rear sam?

more info

thanks for replying -- i found an ignition switched circuit emanating from the rear sam that is associated with the plug/connector that goes into the hole marked 20 on the rear of the sam. i have an add a fuse setup now, but would prefer to add an additional wire to the plug, but cannot find out where to buy or a specification for the end terminal of such a wire.

found some terminal connectors that allowed me to add/use fused circuit within SAM. least expensive ( at least in short run) way to prevent the p.o.s. telecomm deal from drawing current after sleepy time and yet not trigger s.r.s. warning. i think you can use same SAM plug to connect trailer. had to tweak slightly but they work well. neutrik nlfaston -->> http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...FQ8waQodYiIAqA

wait, are you the guy from snl that helps people with computers ? have to be.

omg, dude, i only wanted to let people know that i found the locking terminal connector that i was seeking.

i referred to the trailer hitch wiring, to establish that you can connect to the rear SAM, contrary to your previous post.

instead of using such a switched circuit for powering the trailer hitch, i used it to switch power to the telecomm. equip, since that equip, was causing a quiescent current drain that was out of spec.

no codes, no dead batteries now.

may you be happy !
