Hi,


I have 2008 E200 and it has COMAND with navigation. I want to update maps in it, but (what I've read so far) I need to put update disc into DVD player what should be in trunk. BUT, I don't have any I've there only fuse box and that's all. When I put update disc into the COMAND, it says Disc cannot be read.
My COMAND has HDD built in.

you probably need to update firmware first...

So you say that when I update the firmware then my built-in disc reader (built-in COMAND) will be able to read DVDs? I tried audio CD and thats not a problem.
...or is there any other place where navigation DVD reader could be (other than trunk) located?
...or is there any other method of updating maps (sd card...)?

 

Just curious ... do you presently have NAV, but just with old maps? Here's a link to an MB site that might provide useful info:
