Need Alignment Advice Please

2005 W211.065 Car still pulls to the right, not too bad but enough to notice.

7/6: After first alignment at MB dealer car still had slight pull to right and wheel was off-center to right. I swapped front tires with no noticeable effect.

7/8: MB dealer aligned for second time. Said they couldn't get it within spec. and it was still pulling right. I told them to install all 4 repairs bolts (no extra cost), get it as close as possible and I would take it somewhere else.

So the latest Test Sheet (7/8) is with all 4 repair bolts installed. The first Test Sheet (7/6) has one repair bolt in the left camber.

Any thoughts on these numbers and what I could do to try and improve them? I'm not happy about the front camber split.

And what causes the tolerances to differ on the two Test Sheets?

BTW, the front suspension is new (ball joints, arms, struts, etc.) aside from the sway bar and upper wishbone bushings.

“COULDN’T GET WITHIN SPEC”

It is because the “repair bolts” are non adjustable “one position bolts”

AT K-MAC WE SAW THE NEED AND MANUFACTURE PRECISELY ADJUSTABLE (SINGLE WRENCH, ON CAR) FRONT CAMBER AND CASTER AND REAR CAMBER (WITH EXTRA TOE) KITS.

Allowing to return vehicle to factory specs to accurately resolve steering pull or costly/premature edge tire wear. The result of altering height, load carrying, curb knock damage or fitting wide profile tires/wheels. Added bonus is these 4 front and rear K-MAC adjustable bushings also replace the highest wearing suspension bushings at the same time and have twice the load bearing area. The front bushes are 2 axis self aligning and are designed to also improve brake and steering response

The “one position” repair bolts are only available for the front. While the front K-MAC unique patented design kit for the W211 provides both precise adjustment and also up to 4 times the adjustment range.

IT MEANS YOU FIX IT RIGHT THE 1ST TIME – No more ongoing trips to dealer or alignment shops or constantly changing tire brands because of adjustment or the minimal adjustment offered from these inaccurate one only position bolts!

CAMBER – Allows to actually change the tire contact angle, improving wear/traction/understeer/oversteer

CASTER –Resolves steering pull, increases steering response. With better turn in and high speed directional control, along with improved anti dive/lift under brake and acceleration.

For the rear - you can purchase adjustable Camber rods but to reduce inner edge tire wear unlike K-MAC lower arm bushings – these rods need to adjust top of tire outwards which reduces all important clearance to outer fender. K-MAC kits also include extra Toe adjustment necessary to compensate for this new rear Camber facility.

W211 Front Kit #502216K $480
W211 Rear Kit #502526K $480

Current promotion for MB World members USA/Canada delivery - $30 one kit or $40 front and rear (normally $70 one kit, $80 front and rear). Can pay by Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
