Upper ball joint

I install Arnott airbag and losen the upper control arm @ balljoint. Now I am trying to tighten control arm and the the whole thing is turning. Is this normal? Does this indicate the balljoint is bad? Is their a trick to tighten?

start the nut like 2 threads. use a impact. and pry down on the the upper control arm so there is actually some pre-load on the ball joint.

I ran into the same issue...it's tough because you have to apply pressure to the joint. If I remember right I used a jack under the lower ball joint to push up and then used a pair of lock pliers to hold the thread while I turned the nut enough to get it loose.
