Front grille questions
I have a pre facelift w211 and I'm looking into getting the new grille, will the new grille fit on there or will I need to replace other parts so that it could fit?

Facelift grille ? I think you need the 07-09 bumper and hood release. Bumper is shaped a little different to fit the grille. The release is a little longer.

You can buy aftermarket one's on eBay that fit straight on without any modification. I've got one on my 2005 they look pretty good and give the car a more updated look.

^ talking about the facelifted grille. yours is NOT the "new" grille as its just an aftermarket pre facelift grille.
OP: if you want the facelifted grille (bigger), and you have a pre facelift 211. you will need new bumper, brackets(?) and a LONGER HOOD LATCH. if you have time and money to spare. might think of doin an E63 upgrade.

depends on where you are mate. it cost me 3 times more down here compared to US. but its worth it. do some research and you'll find a lot of info here. i also have this thread that might give you an idea.

no i didnt, i just changed the mufflers and added the dual tips to complete the look. you can either go for the whole she bang like I did or just go with the front upgrade in which case refer to post #5 on this thread.
