I have a 2007 e350 and I am wondering what side this code is for and is it intake or exhaust? Reason being is I was told it was for the passenger side intake cam so I replaced the cam magnet on that side and code hasn't gone away. I also have a clicking sound that seems to be from the drivers side timing chain location. I know everyone is going to automatically say the balance shaft but being that the balance shaft is in the center of the engine why would I only hear that sound on one side? Also the dealer has said that I need both codes in order for them to replace the balance shaft. Any other suggestions? Thank you for your time. -Josh

 

1208 p0016 = intake camshaft, right cylinder bank (y49/5). Fault code 1200 and/or 1208 for balance shaft.
