Silly poll, how many have mud flaps?
I never checked to see if it was an option. I just told the salesperson that I wantes them fitted.
I believe they are fitted at the dealership. They obviously give great protection to the lower bodywork.

In some of my BMW sedans where flaps were installed, due to their design and height clearance of the car, flaps consistently scrap speed bumps and asphalt on the highway (at highspeed travel over uneven highway).
Since the E500 has low profile tires, I was afraid the same may happen and therefore had not make up my mind to install. As such, I do have more road dirt on my car.
In the other cars where flaps were installed, I have noticed less grim on the sides and fenders.
I should not really have said 'on previous Mercedes-Benz' because it has been down to the requirement of using a water based paint. The mud-flaps just helps prevent stones from hitting the sides of the bodywork, they certainly do not improve the looks of a very nice car.

I'm disinclined to put anything on my car just for the sake of looks, but the flaps on the wagon in the picture look functional and not at all obtrusive.
