Question E 500 Wagons Owners

I would like to get some observations/opinions on any of the forum members who has the E 500 Wagon in 4-Matic.

After owning the E500 sedan and an FX , which btw beats me to death on trips I am looking into replacing it with the E. If you have any suggestions on options or have some shots you can post this would be appreciated.

How is the handling in comparison to the sedan? Are there any drawbacks in getting the wagon over the sedan?

Thanks
Derek.

Just curious... what do you mean by "beats you to death" on the FX35?
Thanks!

Thumbs down

My FX 35 Crossover is a dynamite car but for some reason the seats and my ski injured knees do not gel on long trips. I do a 9 hour drive once a month for board meetings in Fla. and look forward to the peace, quiet and speed. Using my E500 and SC 430 I do fine but my first and last run in the FX about killed my knees and back.
So, therefore the Beast is not long for the household.

Derek.
