SEAT BELT NOT COMING BACK OUT!!
I took off the driver's side seat belt. Nothing wrong with it, not accident damaged or anything. The seat belt retracted all the way. Now when I wanna pull it out, it's not pulling out Is there some special way or a button to click to pull it out?

It sounds like the mechanism is just sticking a little. Try using a large screw driver to insert and tap on some metal component to jostle it loose.
There's no manual release that I know of.

I read his post differently. Did he actually remove the mechanism, or did he just take off his seat belt as one does every time one exits the car?

Nevermind guys, the seat belt has to be put on a car otherwise it will lock. I learnt that today. There is kind of lead inside and the seat belt has to be balanced or something to go loose and freely retract and extend. The guy who told me today said he tells newbies this fun fact every other day Don't be scared if yours lock when you remove the seat belt from the car.

I had the same thing years ago. There is a steel ball bearing ball that locked up. Once the ball was moved a little bit and could move freely it worked again. In order to fix the mechanism the mechanism doesn't need to be bolted into the car. It's easier to fix it if you remove it. It's a cheap fix bc if you need a new one it cost as much as a used small car.
