w211 Tail light question
I have a 2009 w211 e550 4matic and was looking to update the tail lights to the led "black strip" version that resembles the OEM S class design.
the lights are after market made by eagle eye. There are many listing on eBay for them, but they all say 03-06 w211. I have Googled as much as I can, and have not been able to find a definitive answer as to why these lights won't work with an 07-09 w211.
Even if they are not plug and play, which I'm not sure, has anyone been able to make these work on a 07-09? I imagine somewhere out there has a solve for this or knows more.
I had messaged several of the sellers on ebay the same question and the responses have been generally "they're not compatible", with no explanation.
Anyone have a definitive answer?
