Another Sirius Problem
A new Sirius problem has cropped up.
My receiver no longer will receive or process a station update. Additionally, I cannot get channels 14 or 18. So on my 4th call to Sirius, the problem was elevated to a service technician ("Robert" in India)who told me that my 1st generation equipment was the problem. His explanation (which sounds like BS to me) was that these two stations have broader bandwidth than the other and my receiver cannot process those. He blamed the equipment and said I needed a new Sirius module.
Even if that were true, it wouldn’t explain the failure to receive/process the station update signal. From what I’ve read on other posts here, if Sirius can’t figure out the problem, they just blame the customer’s hardware.

I wanted to tag on as I just got my car. 2026 cle 53 and has the most update MBUX. Same issues everyone else reported. Spent considerable time with dealer concierge and they have no idea. Even tried two loaners and the same issue with Sirius. I'm used to have CarPlay on the screen and switching between my favorites on the dashboard and can't for the life of me figure out how. After reading it seems this is not possible with the current MBUX.
Every other car for thousands less can do this. Blows my mind that something so simple is missing. I will lodge a complaint with their customer service so maybe if enough people complain they will fix in a new release.
