final negotiations, need help for e500 4matic
hello all-
my e500 4matic is on the boat and on its way!!!
was wondering what type of discount people are getting these days. winter is almost over and 4matic has now been around a lil bit, so i was wondering if discounts have increased at all.
if anyone has very recently purchased and wants to share how much they got off sticker, i would be thrilled to hear from you (providing it's good news).......thanks

MY CAR IS ON BOAT WITH MARCH 1ST ARRIVAL IN BALTIMORE, THEN UP TO PHILLY. ORDER WAS PLACED BASED ON DEPOSIT WITH FINAL NEGOTIATIONS TO TAKE PLACE APON INSPECTION.
THE MSRP WAS SET APON ORDERING, BUT SALESMAN SAID WE WOULD HAMMER OUT FINAL PRICE AT THAT TIME. I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE PAYING $1500 OVER INVOICE TO $2500 UNDER, BUT WAS WONDERING IF END OF WINTER AND NEWNESS OF 4MATIC WEARING OFF A LITTLE WOULD HELP ME "HAMMER" DOWN THE FINAL PRICE A LITTLE BIT. NON 4MATICS ARE DISCOUNTED QUITE A BIT MORE. LOOKING FOR BEST PRICE OBVIOUSLY.

Personally, there is no way I would've put a deposit on any car without first having a purchase price set in stone.... Some dealers like to sit you in front of that nice purty car while your negotiations take place... They love to see you drool...

Each MB dealership acts indipendently. Try your best for bargining.... Don't always comparing deal from other states which it might be major competition among MB dealerships. For example, some states has only 1 or 2 MB dealership and how you going to get good deals???

Just back from dealer. While car won't be in until 3/10, we sat down and finalized price.I am happy to have gotten $1680 off msrp, an extra set of mats , and free bent rim insurance. Not bad based on what ive heard on this board. Now i just have to wait for delivery.
