With MB never take parts exchange for granted.
I had situation when the same MY could have 3 different temperature sensors, so carry VIN on your cellphone.

i def agree with that. this was more a chassis question. I was debating something with a parts manufacturing suspension wise. They were saying there would be a difference in an after market suspension item that an 03 part wouldn't mount on an 08 like there was a difference in the chassis. i was disagreeing.
