New member! And seat switch issue solved
I bought a 2003 E500 on an impulse buy, 81k miles, one owner every record kept - even filling the tires at the stealership. So far I'm pretty impressed, I've had a few issues, one was the rear shade was very slow, I lubed the motors and now its good as new...
The second problem was the seat stopped reclining, I unhooked the seat connectors cleaned and plugged them back in which didn't fix anything infact now I have an SRS fault... I ended up spraying contact cleaner straight into the recline switch and that fixed it!
So I went to a dealership to have the SRS light reset and they wanted $190 ??? WTF!
Can anyone in the Bay Area help me out?
