Engine Bay Cleaning - 09 E320 Bluetec
I always keep my cars clean including engines.
Diesels are dirty and I'd like to keep the engine bay clean. I always wipe it down, plastic engine covers and such.
When the plastic engine cover is removed the motor is dirty. Can it be rinsed? Sprayed down with WD-40? Ideas?

Just cleaned new to me Bluetec as the engine was very filthy under the cover.
Warm engine and 150 psi of garden hose pressure. Looks good now.
Trying to figure out if I have oil cooler leak, or just engine that was cleaned on the top, but spilled oil under the cover.

150 psi water is really good for car and engine washing.
Bad part is that "lifetime guarantee" hoses usually have the life of ... 2 days before they blow up.
I have commercial hose that can hold the pressure, but is pretty stiff to operate.
Love Bluetec and can only dream of getting one with wagon. I always liked diesels for high speed acceleration and that diesel married with 7 speed is simply incredible.
