Seat/Side Mirror/Steering Wheel memory function not working
Hello. I tried searching but didn't find anything related.
Last night I removed my door panel to replace the window switch and the door handle (2004 W211) and upon installing, everything works as it is expected except for the seat memory functions. When pressing memory 2, which is the setting I use for my seat, it will move the parts to the saved position, however it will only slightly increment them in tiny steps at a time. This requires me to press the button numerous times to finally achieve the saved position.
This is similar to a power window or moon roof out of sync, but I can't find anything regarding memory functions out of sync..? Anyone ever experienced this before?

Two things to try, if they fail may need to pull/clear codes using MB DAS:
Pull f2 driver seat adjustment @ rear SAM (located behind left trunk panel) for about 15 minutes in an attempt to reset, note passenger side is f1 and/or ignition on and move the seat all the way back then all the way forward 2-3 times, remove key lock car, unlock car.

Pull F2 for ~15 minutes in an attempt to reset.
If that doesn't work, then:
Put key in ignition to ON position, move seat all the way back then all the way forward 2 to 3 times, then remove the key, lock the car and unlock the car.
Did I get that right?

"Move seat" procedure first if unsuccessful, then move on to pulling fuse. BTW no particular order simply two reset procedures to try.

Ok that didn't make a change either. Interesting plot twist, I tried memory seat 3 option which I've never used before and it works. Seat memory 1 and 2 "work" as described in the original problem, but seat memory 3 works completely normal. Very strange.
