Hi, Today my car rear-end went too low, the right side was lower than the right side, and after I turn off and turn my on my car couple times, it went up but the aircompressor sounds weird, it seems about to die. I will buy new aircompressor but I wonder why the right side was lower than the left side, do I need to get new airshock as well?
No, if the compressor is noisy, its on its way out, bearings are shot. Start with that and see how well its pumps the back up. Don't forget to replace the 40 amp fuse and relay. start the car and hit the rise button. Once its all pumped up and you have driven it a little bit, park it and let it sit for 16-24 hours. (sometimes it takes less than that for it to sink) If the car sinks more to one side than the other, the bad air bag is on the lower side. A bad bag will also wear the pump out.
The compressor rebuild kit cost about $50.

My guess about uneven level is that compressor still pumps enough pressure to raise the lighter side, but not the heavier.
Fix the compressor and it that doesn't fix the leveling, then worry.

I couldn't find rebuild kit for E500 but I found that rebuild kit, that will do the job am I right ?
Good find as the European seller was much more expensive.
Good feedback too, so hopefully those rings will last 10 years like factory ones, but than for $17 what's a big deal to replace them every 3 years.
Per my research - all European manufacturers use the same air pump. No matter Land Rover, RR, Maybach or MB, the rings are the same and only attachments can be different.
Doesn't hurt to email seller with question thouoght.
