Ball joint help needed

Need some help with the lower part of the steering knuckle. I have attached pictures of my front left lower and right lower knuckle.

My front left control arm looks to be relatively new, but next to it, the lower ball joint boot is leaking brown fluid.
My front right control arm has not been changed and the boot is torn. The lower ball joint looks fine.

Questions:
1) Can I change the ball joint in the right control arm, or do I have to replace the entire arm?

2) Although I have no noticeable problems driving and no movement when manually manipulating the rotors, I assume I should replace both left and right side Lower ball joints.

Thanks

Control arm and joint is on piece and cannot be replaced separately. Control arm is relativity easy to replace.

You should do both lower joints at the same saying that I only did the side that was giving me issues at the time and came back to do the other side a couple of months later.

One tip I will give you is get the correct tool you MUST have a joint press to push the joint out and get yourself a quality ball joint splitter I snapped one trying the split the lower control arm joint.

Thanks. I sorta figured, but wanted to make sure. I bought a separator, and will borrow the press from Auto Zone. New arm will be on order as well as an extra lower ball joint. I'm assuming the control arm is fairly easy to replace.

Yes replacing the control arm was not difficult that hardest part for me was breaking the the ball joint.

Replace all those things in pairs!!!!! If you have a air hammer ball joints take like 15 minutes a side.... just saying. Otherwise it's pretty straightforward!

He is correct about replace both, in a few months the other side will leak/noisy/annoy you
