![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I press and hold the ESP button for approx 10sec until the triangle lamp turn off so the ESP should turn off completely right? when I start the drag race with my friend after flooring the gas pedal the tire spin heavily(I use 20" rims) and the ESP lamp r blinking like hell again. HOW to turn off this thing completely ?otherwise the ESP will slow down the car by applying rear brakes when 'no traction' is detected. thnx.

or prolly pull the ESP/ASR fuse :p but I wouldn't recommend that.
There is no way to fully turn off traction control. ASR is always going to be there to stop wheel spin even if ESP is turned off.

Now you tell us after 18 years, 8 months, 2 weeks, and 1 day ago since the last post. Are you trying to go for the record on necrothreads? Most people in this thread probably haven't been on in a long while.
