04 E500 Break-in
hi guys, im new to this board 
.
For the break-in process of 04 E500,
1. how many months?
2. how many miles?
3. the highest RPM limit during the break-in time?
4. sport button for transmission, can i use that already?
5. anything else to watch out for?
thx in advance for the replies, so far this is the best MB forum i've been in, keep it up guys

Sports Mode vs. Comfort Mode has indeed been explained in great depth on a previous thread. Basically I would recommend you keep it in Sports Mode unless you have a really specific reason for wanting to pull away in 2nd Gear.
Comfort Mode is the old 'W' Winter setting and with a new engine I would NOT recommend pulling away in 2nd Gear, which 'C' Comfort Mode would do.
