What is this part

Though this is not a pic from my car but I need to locate the rear left and right upper arm (portion fixed on wheel) parts (red arrows in pic) for my 2007 W211 E320. I seem to have worn off serations connecting rear upper control arms, due to loose bolts which have now been replaced.

With such issues you should subscribe to EPC at http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/login.jsp
This way you will know you will get correct part number directly from the source, not from a drunk member in Florida.

I hear you. It is not a part that usually wears out; At worst I may end up going to my local MB dealer to locate part# or call partsdotcom.

Not to worry guys; I located the part numbers and price over $800 each or $600 each from parts. I'm going to live with existing and hope they don't work loose again for at least a year or more; by that time I'll have a lift installed in the new home when I can clean up and rebuild damaged serations to improve bite with upper arm, unless they break down sooner. I'm also trying to inquire at salvage yards. The same Knuckles are used in several Mercedes models: PN# Left: 2113508308 Right: 2113508409

Something other owners of the model should know about?
I am flying to pick up 2008 Bluetec on Monday and beside high maintenance requirements on 7G did not find any negative posting?

Oh I love this car, had it new since 2007, now 68K miles on it.
I've had zero maintenance (except oil flush) and replacing a poorly installed gasket following oil flush.

This is a part that would normally never need replacing, it was primarily due to my own mods. In the meantime I bought/ordered the parts from a salvage yard at a fraction of the cost, you know just in case I need them.

Thanks for sharing love for the car.
I had E320cdi and a case of black death with it, so that was not the best memory. Amazingly 2005 320cdi sell for about the same what 2008 Bluetec, so I did not think long.
I found white W211 what seems to be as rare as white elephants.
Black cars look good new and clean when you have a shade to park them.
After having black for 8 years we are ready to go back to white.
I had to clean my garage last year and gave away or plain dump about $1500 worth of spare parts for the cars I no longer own.
