2008 E 350 4matic wagon - Adaptive Headlight Do Not Auto Level
MB readers, I have a 2008 E 350 4 Matic Wagon with Adaptive Headlights. The Passenger ( Right ) light, Auto Leveling, Turning at under 25 MPH works perfect. The Driver ( left ) does not do any of the Auto, turning actions. The Light is active and works. I have used the Adjust Screw to bring this to the same level as the working ( Right ) headlight. I assumed the Headlight Unit was faulty and purchased a new one. Dropped the bumper, replaced the Headlight assembly, same problem :-(....
Any suggestions on where to look next... Is there a separate control unit that manages the Auto Leveling function of the Adaptive Headlights ?... Any advice would be appreciated... Al

Quick Follow up question(s).... is there 1 Control Unit for both Headlights or 2 separate Control Units & are the control unit under one of the seats or in the engine compartment ?

Each lighting unit has a control unit (CU) for range & curve adjustment, interior CU (N71) is leveling including startup adjustment. You can try pulling f52 @ front SAM (engine compartment) in an attempt to reset.
