E pricing update post
I leased my E320 in Dec. 03 (its and 04). Now a friend of mine wants to get one and he's wondering what he should pay in Socal. Can you guys post recent pricing info to this thread. I know there are some old ones here but I wanted to look for new prices.
Thanks
In NYC area I found at least three dealers that would do it (even on MY05 order) just to get business...
On the E320, I would say that $4500 off the MSRP price is an aggressive number! That is what I have sold a few MBWorld members E320s for & made it a very easy deal!!

Hey Mark -
Why are you selling your car?? What are you getting?
I have an '05 CLK55 coupe on order and it will be here in late August. I have advertised it, so if it takes me a little time to sell, I won't be stuck with 2 car payments!!!
Do you know anyone interested?

If the 55 had 469hp, I'd order one too..
Lucky dog. How much are you asking for the coupe?

You must be selling a LOT of cars !
I do pretty well, but there are still guys who sell way more than myself. The only difference is I have been with Mercedes for 4 years and they have been with them for 10 to 15yrs! That is the key to building your business, stick to one place and do your own thing!!! Guys who move from dealership to dealership are shooting themselves in the foot, especially in the highline industry.
JK. Mark is the man.
Yea right, you only sell 1 car a year!!

Brav,
I told you not to tell anyone!!
I do appreciate the props though :p I just try to be fair and let everyone know they have someone on the inside that is not trying to rip them off!!!
March '03 E320 - 4K under msrp
What options installed (that could make quite a difference).
Instead of specifying whatever off MSRP - specify how much under/over dealer's invoice (this is the number you should work with - not MSRP!).
When I bought my cars from SF Benz, they said they pay carsdirect about $500.
Looking for a new E320 or E500, and noticed on carsdirect that SoCal is roughly $500 less than NorCal.
Buying from SoCal and driving it back up is not an option even for that difference. I would love to give a sale to a fellow MBWorld member Mark, unless you know any referrals in the Bay Area.
If anyone knows how much carsdirect gets for helping sell a car for the dealership, that would be useful for negotiations.
Thanks
Comparing to Carsdirect.com prices, how much do they get when they sell a car for a dealership?

Is it MY04 (I assume)?

The deal was a 2-year lease with the purchase price at 49K and change.
I don't know the names of the packages offhand - it's not really that loaded.
Black/ Stone full leather
HK Stereo
Heated Seats
Sunroof
That's all I can remember offhand... hope that helps a little bit!
The question is whether the lease terms have changed. Back then, the residuals were nice and high, 63% for 39 months, I think. Made it real easy for me to walk away from the new BMW 5 (sticker price, crappy residual, would've been in an underpowered 525 for the same price I'm in a loaded E). Except for the static problem I still gotta fix, love the car.
l8r,
sascha =)
Marcus' price of $4500 below sticker (which is about $1000 below invoice) is within dollars of what I paid in November for '04 E320 Prem/App/KGo...
In Nov. new (at that time) MY04 model just start rolling over to dealers and you get $1K off invoice (read - dealer made like $500-$600 on the new model year sale) - sound quite interesting who approved that sale...
Doesn't sounds right.

Not much fun being a dealer and no one coming in because of misinformation?
