need help with muffler delete vs resonator delete

need help with muffler delete vs resonator delete
Hey guys i'm new to mb and doing work on cars in general so any help would be appreciated!

All I'm looking for is some good sound without sounding like an idiot or spending a fortune. I searched around and found that a muffler delete or a resonator delete would be best.

If i did a resonator delete, i would take the resonators out and replace them with an xpipe.

If i did a muffler delete, i would simply add pipes to the tips.

Let me know what you guys think will give me the best sound!

The resonators are there to help the V6 sound better. Taking them out might make it sound to tinny, IMO.

i agree and there is not point of the x-pipe going back into single exhaust

Do any of you guys know the pipe dimension i would need when I take out the mufflers?
