Digital Speedometer problem
The digital speedometer show the wrong speed's units.
When set to km/h, it shows the mph value with km/h units. When set to mph, it shows the km/h value but with mph units.
Below is the picture sample of similar problem.
Can someone help to solve this problem. Thanks
1 mile = 1.6 km.
In the upper picture the digital number should be 18 mph and in the lower picture it should be 42 km/h

Seems both speedometers act.
At 1200 rpm once the dial shows 17 mph, the other time 26 mph. Was it on different gear?
Get GPS and compare to real speed.

When you have 2 gauges showing different results, you need to get calibrated one to recheck.
Technically I would faster suspect the dial gauge to malfunction as it has mechanical motor that moves the needle.
Digital meter have less margin for error.

Drove to an indy mechanic to have my 2003 E320 version coded to accept the bluetooth puck with tail. Indy hooked up to the car with his computer, tried to do it but failed.
On the drive home I noticed my digital speed (in numbers) in mph was out of sync with the analog speedometer (needle), which is also in mph. Was driving 60 mph (needle) but digital speedometer (numbers) said I was doing 40 mph.
Bottom line, you will need to take your car to the dealer, or an indy who knows what they are doing, to have it corrected. Unless of course you have the Star diagnostics thingamajig lying around, then you can probably to do this yourself.
That said, I am still waiting for the mechanic to get back from his vacation so he can correct this heinous crime.
Hope this helps and good luck!
