Shop Recommendation on HID Upgrade Install in South Bay Area 2007 E350 Wagon W211
So I just picked up a 2007 E350 Wagon.
PO told me it had Xenon, and I didn't bother to check. Guess what, it doesn't. It has projector headlight, and he assumed that was xenon. WRONG!!!
Anyway, I have done a few Xenon conversions on BMWs, they all seem to be pretty plug and play with the 9006 bulbs. But with the H7, and the way E350s are setup, there is no easy way to get back there without removing headlight / bumpers, etc...
Does anyone have a shop to recommend in the South Bay and an approx cost to get this done? I know I can get parts relatively cheap, but going thru bumper and headlight removal scares me.
Any suggestions or experience to share would be appreciated!!!
The original halogen is just way too dim that needs a 55W upgrade ASAP

I did a 35w can bus kit (4500k) from DDM on my 07 E550. I don't think 55w kits are a great idea. You're over powering the same bulbs and they won't last as long.
Aside from the HID kit, you'll also need different metal clips that are slotted to allow the wires to pass through. Alternatively, you can cut your current clips but I didn't go that route. It wasn't particularly easy, but was able to do both sides on mine without removing the headlamps or bumper.

2016 E350 Sport; Mom Wrecked the 2008 E350; sold the 2002 C320
Before I went full retrofit, I installed a Morimoto kit on my '08 W211. It's definitely do-able without having to remove the headlights (just have to remove some canister on the driver's side) and I was able to use the original bulb retaining clips (very tight fit, but it can be done).
