Front end clunk
I've got this ongoing issue at low speed like backing out of drive I feel a clunk coming from front left side, when I turn the wheel hard to the left to park I can feel a hard clunk and sometimes a pop sound.
The lower ball joint and lower control arm has been replaced, I suspect the control arm is faulty despite being new, I've checked all other joints all is tight with nothing visibly worn. See video below when I turn the wheel left I can feel and hear the clunk I don't get this sound when I turn the wheel to the right.
Any ideas should I just pull the control arm and replace it with something better quality the one I installed was of eBay(German Parts Saver) and I suspect the quality is marginal.

Cheap aftermarket parts do have its place, but crucial suspension elements are not it.
I put cheap radiator hose on father's W124 as OEM cost close to $200 and it works for over 4 years so far.
But the car will not crash when hose blows. ....
