This car was being displayed in the Mercedes Benz accessory/clothing store in Milan, Italy. It looks great.

No, it was the E320. Most of the cars I saw while I was there had smaller engines. Saw a couple AMG models, but those cars don't even have the AMG badges on them (E55, ML55, C32 Wagon). I was hoping to see the SL55, but only saw some SL500s. Europeans also seem to love brilliant silver. It seemed like 90% of the MBs I saw there were that color.

Yes, we surely do! My dealer told me that >75% of all mercedes cars sold in Sweden (A-class included!) are brilliant silver.

When I saw the new E-class (which arrived to the swedish dealers approx three weeks ago) two of the three new E's was brilliant silver. That makes only 66.6%. Can we see a trend-change here

 

Silver is the best color when it comes to keeping the car clean.
Black is the worst apparently.

As you can see from "what I drive" I could not agree more! BTW I love your city! Stockholm is one of my favorite destinations.
