AC Compressor Pulley Noise
2006 E3504matic with approx. 130k. I've got the not uncommon AC Compressor pulley 'grinding' noise. Compressor is fine, no issues. 2 part question for you experts: A little while ago, there was a You Tube video that showed step by step replacement for JUST the compressor pulley. I haven't been able to locate that? I recall that it starred the same MB tech 'actor' that appears in the now famous Balance Shaft video also (and still) on YouTube.
Any leads to that AC Pulley video would be appreciated.
And secondly, Can anyone tell me the part number for JUST the ac compressor PULLEY? Some of you may refer to this as the Pulley Bearing/Bearings ... I'm not sure if that is correct or incorrect. But again, compressor is fine, just would like to get rid of that school-bus-like whine coming directly from the pulley/pulley bearing assembly. Thanks in advance.
