As you say, they are certainly distinctive. and may well have had a paint job by 'Adobe'

There was a thread and link to this a couple of months ago. The cars were created for the photographer and taken around europe for the pictures. I can imagine the looks you would get driving one on the street! I think it would be easier to keep one of them clean than a black one. Also, the chrome wouldn't chip like the paint does.
