E500 Airmatic issues (have error codes from DAS)
Just bought my first Mercedes. I'm really happy with my new e500 and looking forward to have it road worthy soon.
So I bought the car with all four sides slammed to the floor. It was giving a error on the dash saying Stop, car too low! I had someone come by with DAS and it gave four errors. We tried clearing them but they came right back. We were able to manually raise the passenger front and rear of the car. The driver side front and rear wouldn't raise. I did this a couple of days ago and the passenger side is still holding air in the front and back.
5132 B22/8 (Left front level sensor) : Signal failure
5300 Y36/6 (AIRmatic central reservoir charge valve) : Open circuit
5330 Y53/1 (AIRmatic valve unit, left rear suspension strut) Y53/1y2 (Level valve) : Open circuit
5380 Y53/1 (AIRmatic valve unit, left rear suspension strut) Y53/1y1 (Additional volume valve) : Open circuit

I jacked up the driver side of the car and inspected the front level sensor. I noticed the rod that connects the level senor to the upper control arm has some corrosion and doesn't move freely. I'm picking up the new rod tomorrow.
Anyone have advice or troubleshooting tips for me? Im some what mechanically inclined and any visits to the dealer would be great
Thank you for reading

-Sensor failure. You're on track.
"5300 Y36/6 (AIRmatic central reservoir charge valve) : Open circuit"
-Exactly what it says. Broken wire or bad connection. Check CANBUS connections at all points. Check power and ground wires at all points. Usually a dirty connector or pinched/broken wire(s).
"5330 Y53/1 (AIRmatic valve unit, left rear suspension strut) Y53/1y2 (Level valve) : Open circuit"
-Ditto
"5380 Y53/1 (AIRmatic valve unit, left rear suspension strut) Y53/1y1 (Additional volume valve) : Open circuit"
-Ditto
That this is multiple failures would make me continue upstream looking for a common failure point at a single connection. Possibly at the SAS control box under the front floorboard.
Once you figure it out, come back and post here for others in the future.
