Sunroof Question
Have a question about the "One Touch" feature. I press it back once and the two sunroof visor panels automatically folds into the middle. I press it back again and the sunroof automatically open but to close the sunroof or to leave it cracked open in the up position...you must manually hold the buttom forward to close? Just want to make sure that is correct becuase in our S500....you can also "One Touch" forward and it automatically closes. Also, when the sunroof is open all the way, you just press up once and it automatically closes the sunroof then pops to the up position.
Is this MB's effort in cost cutting? Just curious.

Mine has the one touch closing mode.... Try pushing the overhead button forward a little harder. The botton seams to have a slight click sensation before it goes to one touch.

Pano and the regular sun roofs are different. I am not sure why but the E320 I tested out had a sunroof and it had "one Touch Close" but not so on a pano. Dealer says this is correctly set. Pano must be held in the close position.
Anyone with a Pano have "One Touch Close ?

Thanks for the info HonaH and marksatex.....forgot to mention I have the Pano Roof.
It appears the Pano Roof feature doesn't have the One Touch Close.....wonder why?

I speculated that it is because as the cloth portion closes, you normally cannot see the space as it closes, thus a child or stupid adult may reach up into that space as it closes and you are able to stop the advance at any point. Just a wild *** guess.

I noticed with the panoroof that you can settle how far it can be open automaticaly.
To push the button: the roof will open up to ie the middle.
Push again: the roof will open at max opening.
Then push the button back to close the roof up to where you want the automatic opening to be settled.
