2007 E550 4matic
Just bought a 2007 E550 4Matic with 106K miles. What to look for?

I have thus far changed the cabin and engine air filters. Changed the engine oil and oil filter, used Castrol synthetic. Been reading the manuals (I know turn in my man card) to familiarize myself. Going to probably change the differential and transfer case fluids this weekend, 2K over due according to the manual.
Having an intermittent issue with the rear passenger door remote working and then not working. Put new tires on it (17" wheels).
The fan goes into turbo mode when idling and the outside temps go above 65 F. May have been because I turned on the seat cooling. Not sure although I am concerned for when the temps start creeping up in Spring. Should I be?
Any preventative maintenance or things to watch for? So far, it seems like a really good car.

Thank you

Charcoal air filet.

Check to see if using the central lock button happens too or it is just with the remote? Maybe you have a bad actuator.

Find a good quality independent Mercedes-Benz factory trained mechanic. In Indianapolis, Benz Unlimited comes to mind. Otherwise, I would be mindful of the AIRMATIC suspension; that goes for all Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Even if you do good DIY, a second set of eyes is invaluable.

The lock remains intermittent even when using the central lock mechanism. Not often, but I am pretty sure it won't get better by itself.
