Hey guys I am sure this has been beat to death but I will ask anyway.

2003 E500

When I take off in a hurry aka pull out in traffic and cut people off.... or just jump on the gas for the fun of it. I run into limp mode. sometimes it throws a po123 other time it just goes into limp mode. I cut it off restart and drive normally and have no issues.

I see a bunch of talk about TPS Sensors and Pedal replacement. I am not one to just throw parts at somethings. It gets expensive.

If anyone has a suggestion or a link to a previous discussion The new guy would definitely appreciate it.

That's fine I had the same exact problem. For me it was the whole accelerator pedal, I followed the reset instructions worked for about 1 day then lasted about an hour after I did it the second time. Got really annoyed then changed the whole pedal haven't had a problem since then.

 

Thank you. On to the next grimlin. Just gave it first full tank and oops I think the gas tank needs replacing. I here it's under warranty for 15 years. Any experience with this as well��

That is why I have never herd of this only applies to gasoline models.
