The problem to the radio solution
Like many of you out there I had the software update to fix the static problem. Unfortunatly it somehow degraded the quality of the HK logic7 sound. Left it at the dealership this morning. As I feared I got the call back that there is nothing wrong. They took a listen and thought it was fine. It's subjective but as an audiophile I know it's messed up. Any similar stories out there? Any suggestions?

I thought I heard someone else on the board complain of this.
If that is the case, I wonder what causes this, and I really don't want the update, because the HK is really not that great anyway, in my opinion.

My complaint was the usual static and loss of functionality of any kind on the audio. Additionally I could hear the Logic 7 fade in and out - mostly out. I believe someone here said that the strength of the signal could affect the Logic 7 but my car is almost never more than 20 miles from downtown Chicago. My wife constantly complained that the sound was unbalanced. I would also lose the left or right channel almost completely for a while after the static incidents. Sometimes it would throw off a malfunction but other times not.
Hope this helps. Now if I can just get my other problems fixed...MB regional management now involved.
