2004 E320 SRS LIGHT -- Resistance Value too high! HELP

Hello all,

I have 2 SRS codes.

1) 9243 The Resistance Value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/10 (Front Passenger side airbag ignition squib) is TOO high

2) 92C3 The Resistance Value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/17 (Right front window airbag ignition squib is TOO high.

I went to the stealership and my service adivsor told me to just go to a Body shop and have them fix it since it most likely a wiring harness... I unplugged the yellow airbag connection cable and put it back in under the seat and reset the light, did nothing.

I can't figure out where the issue is or what I should do to trouble shoot it... Any suggestions? Anyone experience this before?

Thanks

Good morning all. I have had this same issue on my brand new E53. It has already been to the dealer once. Two days after the repair, the same message has appeared. Its the weekend so my Mb dealer service department is closed until Monday.

This should not be happening on a 1.5 month old car. Any thoughts or advice from the group would be appreciated.
