Hello all,
I just purchased a 2008 e350 4matic with 90,000 miles. The car has great history - it was purchased and serviced at the same dealer for its entire life. It's my intention to do my own service.

I figured out how to pull up the FSS. It's calling for service 12 & 13. I've got that covered. However I see a menu item that says additional service. When I enter that sub menu it has many other items.

Is this "additional service" just for a way for the technician to document something else is serviced outside of the schedule? It's not telling me to do those additional things is it?

It's typical for techs to visual inspect items that are part of "services." It's always great being able to work on your own vehicle. It'll also help keep money in your pocket.
