'06 E350 oil leak

'06 E350 oil leak
i have an oil leak on the left side of the engine somewhere between cylinders 1 & 2 directly above the oil level sensor. it looks like it is below the exhaust manifold (no burning oil from engine compartment) and above the upper oil pan. any ideas where it might be coming from?

Small oil seepage can travel a long ways on surface of engine, sometimes w/o touching exhaust manifold. Check carefully around valve covers and breather hose complex. Don

pcv was bad. allowing oil to pass thru exiting a weep hole above the oil level sensor. real difficult to see with engine in car.
