lowering springs...help!!!!!!
who's running lowering springs here and which ones.
I'm debating to get springs or coils? Since mine is base model, its front is sitting pretty high compared to the sport package models.
Please do tell which springs and how much has it lowered ur w211 and if u can post pics as well please!
I found H&r n Eibach springs lowering the max at 1.5in to 1.7in in front. I might need at least 2.5inch
Rear gap isnt that much but still enough for it to look a little awkwardly high...

I know a large majority of people don't like this idea, but you can always cut the springs to get it lower. I did that with the H&Rs on my old 210 E55 and had zero adverse effects from doing it. It was kind of a pain though since we'd cut, reinstall, pull them out, cut some more until getting it to the height I wanted.

well, you are one of the few who are lucky doing that and nothing has happened to u or ur ride lol but i rather not go that route. My friend did it, his repairs ended up more than the coils are worth and it is dangerous.
Surprised u went that route, on the AMG.
