Airmatic "Malfunction"
Hello all..
I'm getting a dash warning showing the car with an up arrow and the word malfunction.
I was able to read the code as "(5350 AG/1Y1) Airmatic pressure relief valve open circuit."
I cleared the code and it came back immediately. Nothing appears to be wrong. No sagging on any corners over night, the raise car button appears to work as well as all the different airmatic modes.
Most of the searching around I did indicated a fuse out or possible pump replacement but as everything appears to work as normal I'm a bit confused. Has anyone here dealt with this issue on a w211? Mine is an 07 E550. Appreciate any help.

Pressure relief valve is build-in on the compressor.
Once you get there, check the plug, clean it and measure the valve resistance.

I'll try to see if a connector came loose or a wire took some damage. I find the compressor on the driver side behind the bumper right? Access from the wheel well?

To some degree you access it via wheel well, to some degree by removing bottom pans.
If you have car lift- remove bottom panel and see if you can reach the electrical connectors.
With only car jack (AND STAND) you have to go via wheel well.

Yeah, not sure about the E550 but on my E500 you can see it easiest by jacking up the car, taking off the wheel and removing the front part of the wheel well. Everything is visible at that point.

Had the similar problem, my car stayed up though, happend while i was driving to florida and stayed up all the way back to NY. Remove driver side wheel, remove the panel in wheel well area and look for wire damage on the compressor. here is the video that helped me solve my problem.

The broken wire ended up being the issue. I was able to patch it up for now but I'm not sure how long that fix will last.
I searched a bit but couldn't find a replacement harness available. Does anyone have the part number?
Where does the other end of this 2 wire connection go?

Turned out to be a broken line on the air pressure relief valve

rear air has less connectors, but the same main compressor in the same location.
