2005 E500 W211 Head Units
Hi, I'm new to the site and I also just recently bought my first Benz.
I got a 2005 E500 from a guy who kept it as a garage piece and barely drove it. It's in great shape.
I lost my first car (a tiny Ford Fiesta 2013) to the recent floods and even made front page of the local paper because of my incident.
I've been heartbroken over it.
I want to update the head unit on the Benz since I'm used to all the little bells and whistles my little Fiesta had, but I'm struggling to find any threads with a definitive answer as to what the best after market unit would be.
I haven't found any good options online on my own either.
Any suggestions as to what the best update would be for a W211?
I just want to be able to connect my phone to the car with Bluetooth, and a built in navigation system would be nice but I also have a GPS that I used to just plug into my old car if there isn't one in the head unit.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Get an Android head unit. If you don't have the fiber optic you can find cheaper ones.
