Brake Part Issue????
I have a 2005 E500. VIN WDBUF70J05A797111. I need Front Rotors and Pads Napa lists two parts, one w/sport package and one w/o. Neither fit my car. Went to Napa because the dealer is 50 miles away but now I am going to the MBD. The rear pads and rotors from Napa fit perfectly...
I am wondering, while waiting for the dealer to get back to me, if there is something special about this car? When I bought it, used, the MBD told me that this is a German Car. That the original owner actually went Germany to select it... ???

I'm back from my 100 drive to the MBD. Had to special order the rotors. Part Guy assured me that PN 211-421-09-12-64 is the correct part. 
Nice day for a top down drive in my SLK-55 AMG.

Question????
Pads, rotors and sensors were replace. No issues. All went well. However the pad worn message is still on. I am assuming that one of the sensors is new defective or I broke one... Can someone confirm that I can check each sensor with a ohm meter for connectivity???

On second thought... I think I can take one of the old sensors. Cut the wires and connect them together. Unplug each senor one at a time. Plug in the dummy sensor and see if the message goes away.

But first... Pushed on the sensor plugs with a screwdriver. Think.. The RR clicked in.. Bottom line message is gone..
FYI, I waited for the computer to go to sleep. Then disconnected the battery and unplugged the SBC. After I was all done, re-plugged SBC then hooked the battery back up... Work great for me..
